Dr. Milena Aziza Rampoldi

is an author and translator. She is the founder and director of ProMosaik. Since her youth she has been interested in social work, international cooperation, languages and cultures. She has been a Muslim for 20 years and lives between cultures. She is convinced that differences should be emphasised in order to get away from the misinterpretation of tolerance and to give expression to people in their uniqueness. She expresses herself in her works against slavery, exploitation, violence against women, Islamophobia, Zionism and imperialism. Art and poetry contribute to intercultural communication. Translations promote exchange between peoples and cultures whose differences are to be aesthetically emphasised.
